Description
The VDIN-32 is ideally suited for use in industrial control systems which
require parallel inputs with voltage varying between
individual inputs. To achieve trouble-free operation in the industrial environment only high quality components have been
used. Altogether 32 opto-isolated inputs are available at the P2 connector for a voltage range from 5V to 100V, divided into
4 channels of 8 bit each. All input lines are monitored by front panel LEDs. Simulation sockets at the front panel allow
simulation of an input signal. This considerably eases and simplifies work on development projects.
The opto-coupler's isolation value of 2500V is fully supported by the board's
geometrical design. The gap between high
voltage and digital parts is not less than 6.4mm.
The VDIN-32 has various interrupt possibilities and supports all Z8536 features like interrupt on input pattern or
change-of-state.
